Great Moments in Movie History: Planet of the Apes

After enjoying Rise of the Planet of the Apes so much a month ago, I realized that the only other movie in the series that I had seen was the original. Inspired, I re-watched the original and then watched the rest of the original five films in the series (this excludes the Burton film). It fades to black and someone is overheard saying, “Oh God! Get his gun!” before the end credits are heard. Sadly, Bart can’t be bothered with it because he’s reading Johnny Tremain.

To celebrate, I’m beginning a brand new series called “100 Things I Love About the Movies”. To be sure, there a LOT more than 100 things that I love about the movies. As such, this has the potential to become a series- 100 Things I Love About Horror Movies, 100 Things I Love About Foreign Movies, and on and on. I present to you the first edition of “100 Things I Love About the Movies”.
