The Holiday Specials Quiz

In just a few short days, America will celebrate Thanksgiving. And a few short hours after that, the wonderful onslaught of holiday specials will begin. For a month, networks will march out every conceivable claymation and animation character and every holiday story to put you in the mood to BUY BUY BUY! To help you prepare, I’ve created a holiday specials quiz. How will you fare? Are you a grinch? A magical snowman? Santa?

You may find the answers here. How did you do?

  1. Yay… a quiz! I’ve never watched Seinfeld or the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol, so I got 14 out of 16. Every year, I anticipate ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas because they show almost all of the classic Rankin & Bass specials. Some are obscure… try to catch The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus (1985), if you haven’t seen it already. Very weird, though it’s based on a novel by L. Frank Baum.

  2. I am a grinch. I got one question right. I suck ass at this sort of thing. But still, a very fun quiz!

  3. Phil

6… I could have been an elf if I had remembered Festivus!

  4. A pretty respectable 10 here. Thanks, John!

  5. I want ThanksGiving Holiday…so not fair!

  6. Dude's Wife

    3 POINTS MAKES ME A GRINCH….BUT I THINK IN MY HEART I’M REALLY A MISFIT TOY 🙂

  7. Aw Men! I so love the Holidays! My office is in a building where there’s the biggest shopping mall of Québec City and I’m all excited with the X-mas songs, and the ornaments everywhere! Nice trivia!

  8. I’m a grinch, I think. 😦 Fail on this test.
