Tale of the Tape: The Callahans

There’s been a battle going on for cinematic supremacy since the middle of the 1990’s. Clint Eastwood’s unforgettable character, “Dirty Harry” Callahan, reigned uncontested as King of the Callahans for nearly two and a half decades. But when Tommy Boy hit screens in 1995, there was a new contender for the throne. The battle has raged on ever since. It’s time to finally decide- which is the better Callahan?

“Tommy Boy” has heart. Unfortunately for him, all of the arteries coming out of it are clogged with butter, cheese, and wing gristle. As such, his physique is what costs him the edge. Henceforth, let it be known that “Dirty Harry” has dodged the usurper to his throne as King of the Callahans.
