For the longest time, I wondered what David Cronenberg’s Naked Lunch (1991) was about. All I knew was that Nelson Muntz had immortalized it on The Simpsons by pointing out that there were at least two things wrong with the film’s title. I finally watched it a few weekends ago, and it’s… something else. There’s really only one way to explain how I felt about it- using stick figures.

Haven’t seen the movie, but the book is about the same. On the plus side, it produced the name for a 70s band, Steely Dan.
Maybe you had a few too many beers…I gotta tell you…your eyes are like saucers! That beard could use a little trimming too sir. Oh how I love Cronenberg. Burroughs and Cronenberg are a match made in mind-tripping hell.
